Affidavit of Graduation (AOG) Login
The AOG is the portion of the SD Board of Nursing's Application for Initial Licensure by Examination that allows a SD Board-approved nursing education program's Administrator to certify the completion of a student's nursing education.
The board will send login information to the SD Board-approved nursing program's Administrator to fulfil this responsiblitly. You are expected to maintain the confidentifality of your login information.
The affidavit of certification of education must only be completed by the SD Board-approved nursing program's Administrator. If an Administrator would like to add other faculty as authorized to certify the completion of a student's education, the Administrator must make a formal request to the Board to grant access to that individual. Instructions and Responsibility of Certifying Education Completion:
- After your program's student (new graduate) has applied to the SDBON for licensure by exam, an email will be sent to the Administrator, or designated individual, to certify. The email will contain a link to login to the Board's AOG portal.
- Once you login to the portal, you will see a list of your program's student records that are waiting for approval.
- Based on the permissions assigned to you by the Board, you will be able to view, edit, review, approve, or reject a student's record.
- You will be guided throughout the portal with instructions and hover messages.
